Rowan County Christmas is a non-profit organization established in 1993 by a group of local social service agencies, churches, civic organizations, businesses and community leaders.
We were created as an "umbrella organization" to coordinate charitable giving and community assistance to families and seniors in need during the Christmas holiday.
We provided Christmas gifts and food vouchers to more than 500 families and senior citizens in 2019.
Rowan County Christmas goals are to enhance better communication and cooperation among service providers, effectively use community resources, donations and volunteers and eliminate duplication of community services during the Christmas holiday.
